Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
A K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Hampton, VA for the 2025/2026 school year. This contract opportunity requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week and offers work across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Therapists will manage assessments, conduct evaluations, provide direct therapy, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support student progress.
Qualifications:
* Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or School SLP certification required
* Experience working with K-12 students preferred
* Ability to perform comprehensive speech and language assessments
* Knowledge of IEP development and participation in IEP team meetings
* Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
* Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations
* Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
* Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
* Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams during IEP meetings
* Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
