About the Role - Our client is seeking a Management Accountant for a three month assignment starting in early January, based between their two offices in Harrogate and Leeds. The role will provide support across the finance function, including accounting and reporting activities and will contribute to key projects and process improvements. Duties of the Management Accountant (3 Month FTC) - Support management accounts processes, including journals and supporting schedules Assist with year-end accounting activities, including stock valuations and journal preparation Prepare audit files and supporting documentation Help develop new reports, processes and maintain associated documentation Assist with the implementation of a new stock and invoicing system Provide training/creating process flows to support to new system users System testing to ensure functionality and accuracy Support stocktakes and ensure accurate data entry into the new system Skills Required - Part qualified accountant (or equivalent experience) within Finance/Accounting Strong management accounting skills, including journals and reconciliations Experience with year-end accounting and audit preparation Ability to prepare and maintain reports and process documentation Proficiency with Excel and accounting or ERP systems; experience with stock/invoicing systems is desirable Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to train and support colleagues, with good communication skills As the successful Management Accountant (3 month FTC), you will receive a competitive pro-rata salary of £45,000 - £55,000, depending on experience and level of qualification.
