The Student Services team at Kingston College is looking for a Safeguarding Coordinator to join them, supporting learners at each stage of their journey from pre-entry to post exit. The department has a student orientated culture and puts learners needs at the heart of everything it does, and staff work together to ensure student success and satisfaction. As the Safeguarding Coordinator and Deputy Safeguarding Lead, you would be responsible for the provision of Support Service delivery across the College in line with key development plans and service standards. You will supervise and manage the team of Student Services Adviser staff, coordinate and monitor cross college safeguarding support and records for the Service to ensure best practice and compliance in place with statutory requirements and legislation. Wed like you to hold a degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualification (minimum Level 5) e.g. Psychology, Social Science, Social Work, Youth & Community and to have a successful track record of managing high risk cases in an educational/FE setting (or similar) to young people and/or adults at risk.You will have substantial experience in overseeing and supporting complex case risk management in collaboration with multi-agency partners. The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that will be implemented in the new academic year.
