Are you ready to take the next step in your supply chain career with a globally recognised FMCG organisation? Our client, a much-loved business behind some of the world's most iconic snack brands, is seeking a Demand Planner to join their high-performing team during an exciting time of growth and innovation.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the forecasting and planning function of a dynamic, fast-paced business renowned for its heritage, values, and commitment to quality. As the central point of contact for Supply Chain, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration, timely product launches, and optimised seasonal planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary link between the wider business and Customer Demand Planners, ensuring seamless information flow and timely action on short-term supply constraints.
* Lead the operational execution of product launches and seasonal plans, working closely with Brand, Commercialisation and Commercial Planning teams.
* Analyse and manage forecast deviations, sales trends, and supply risks, and develop data-driven volume allocation strategies.
* Drive continuous improvement in reporting, forecast accuracy, and planning systems—owning IS/system queries and their resolution.
* Facilitate weekly cross-functional reviews to identify and mitigate risks of over- or under-stock during key seasonal periods.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a consumer goods business, in either planning or merchandising.
* Strong analytical skills, comfortable with using excel for a high-volume work load.
* Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Commercial, Brand, and Supply Chain teams.
* Excellent communication skills, and a hands-on, proactive approach.
* Exposure to different sales channels (e.g. Grocery, Convenience, Impulse, Hospitality) is highly desirable.
Your Attributes:
* Challenging and analytical mindset.
* Confident, collaborative, and approachable.
* Passionate about operational excellence and continuous improvement.
