FULLTIME ROLE: Construction Safety Manager
Location: Grays, London, United Kingdom
Job Description:
Construction safety manager to manage Health, Safety & Environmental aspects of a Warehouse expansion project at FMCG plant.
The job will require ensuring all aspects of safety are followed during the project construction including
* Project safety plan is documented
* Training and induction of site personnel
* Reviewing contractors risk assessments and method statements and providing safety input
* Toolbox talks & daily safety briefings
* Site tours to ensure project safety plans are being adhered to
* Advising project manager on all aspects of safety
* Reporting of safety results on a weekly and monthly basis
* Good knowledge of construction industry or extensive HS&E experience to help ensure safety protocols to be followed for different types of high-risk work including excavation, hot works, working at height, demolition etc.
* Good knowledge of UK Construction industry and CDM 2015 regulations
* Experience working with FMCG & Chemical industry projects (Greenfield & Brownfield expansion)
