Job Title: Senior Finance Officer (Enhanced DBS checked)

Daily Rate: Up to £ p/d DOE
Are you an experienced finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the charity sector? Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Finance Officer to join their Finance Team for a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
2. Lead the recovery of aged and high-risk debts, collaborating with local authorities.
3. Ensure timely submission of VAT returns and other statutory requirements.
4. Oversee invoicing accuracy and timely billing for care services.
5. Contribute to financial strategy and process improvements.
Is this you:
6. AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent) or pursuing a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
7. Proven experience in finance or accounting roles.
8. Strong technical skills in reconciliations, VAT, and management accounts.
9. Proficient in Sage 50 and Excel (pivot tables, lookups).
10. Experience in aged debt recovery and charity accounting.
