Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in financial planning and analysis, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support business decisions and strategies.
* Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to guide management in operational planning.
* Utilise SQL and Power BI for data extraction and visualisation, enhancing reporting capabilities.
* Develop and maintain complex financial models using Microsoft Excel to evaluate various business scenarios.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for accurate financial planning.
* Present findings and recommendations clearly using Microsoft PowerPoint to senior management and stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies while maintaining accurate financial records.
* Continuously improve processes related to financial reporting and analysis through IT solutions.
Skills
* Proficiency in SQL for database management and data analysis.
* Strong experience with Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
* Solid understanding of financial planning principles and practices.
* Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.
* Strong command of English language for effective communication across all levels of the organisation.
* Background in accounting is advantageous for understanding financial statements and compliance requirements.
