About The Role
As a Multi-skilled Engineer, you will ensure smooth and efficient operation of our facility by conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and minimizing downtime. Your work directly supports our waste management mission.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) following OEM specifications and document in our CMMS.
2. Collaborate with cleaning teams to maintain high performance standards.
3. Support operational staff, oversee plant repairs, and ensure health and safety compliance.
4. Act as team leader in the absence of supervisors and mentor junior team members to promote training and continuous improvement.
About You
You should be an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer with a background in mechanical and electrical engineering, proven on-site maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under tight schedules. A minimum Level 3 apprenticeship in engineering or a related field is required. Experience with heavy equipment such as conveyors, motors, hydraulics, PLC systems, and waste industry experience are preferred.
