Duties
* Prepare and create a variety of confections, including chocolates, pastries, and desserts.
* Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality in all products.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards.
* Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing products.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring timely reordering when necessary.
* Assist in training new staff on confectionery techniques and kitchen practices.
* Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in food production or preparation, with a focus on confectionery or baking.
* Strong culinary skills with an understanding of cooking techniques and methods.
* Previous kitchen experience in a professional setting, preferably within a restaurant or bakery environment.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling ingredients.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Creative mindset with the ability to innovate and experiment with flavours and presentations.
