Overview
As MAdtech director, you will be responsible for operationalising the ad tech and mar tech space for Marriott, with a strong view on how to source, organise, and activate against the various 0P / 1P / 2P / 3P data sources.
The role sits within the digital strategy team in London and serves as the EMEA liaison between regions. Knowledge of European data regulations is desired due to increased data protection within EMEA. You will work with Global teams on tech & data strategy for Marriott, and oversee a junior responsible for creating data segments from platforms like Adobe Audience Manager & GA4 for use in biddable advertising.
Responsibilities
* Be an in-house expert on how audience and data-led digital advertising can provide ROI for Marriott and Spark International clients
* Guide and drive use of audience data to impact media strategies based on objectives
* Understand platform/data technologies and explain technical concepts in simple terms
* Identify industry opportunities, meet vendors, and educate teams with your insights
* Develop personalization strategies across channels
* Partner with Activation teams to support media activation and data use cases
* Manage relationships with CDP, Identity Resolution, and oversee deployment
* Share insights and results with teams and clients to impact business decisions
* Effectively articulate your vision to digital clients
Qualifications
* Deep technical knowledge of ad and marketing technology (ad servers, rich media, DMPs, CDPs, DSPs, etc.)
* Strong understanding of digital media planning and management
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
* Expertise with Identity Solution tools (e.g., Epsilon, Liveramp, Neustar)
* Experience with CDPs (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe, Treasure Data)
* Understanding of data flow within adtech/martech ecosystems
