Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Ancora House
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ancora House.
Our multidisciplinary team consists of qualified OT staff and Technical Instructors, working within a large MDT that includes nursing, medical, psychology, speech and language therapy, specialist eating disorder service and educational staff.
Planned shortlist date is 22/12/25 and planned interview date is 09/01/26.
Ancora House has two inpatient GAU wards – Coral and Indigo – and a future Integrated Eating Disorder Unit. They provide person‑centred acute care for young people aged 13‑18, focusing on assessment and short‑term treatment.
This role requires professional responsibility for developing the Occupational Therapy provision to the Tier 4 service (Cheshire and Merseyside), ensuring it is needs‑led, evidence‑based and aligns with current legislation, values and service principles.
The post holder will have the unique opportunity to develop assessment and intervention skills across the full OT pathway, from assessment to intervention and outcome measurement. Training across conditions and models of practice (e.g., MOHO) will be available.
