Job Title: Senior Safety Case Engineer (Human Factors)
Location: Barrow-In-Furness

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
1. Providing a Human Factors Intelligent Customer role within the Safety Case Team
2. Undertaking Human Factors assessments
3. Assessing the probability of human errors and providing Human Factors advice
4. Representing the Safety Case Team in discussions with the wider business
5. Providing an interface between the Safety Case and Human Factors Teams
6. Supporting Safety Case delivery
7. Contributing to Stakeholder Review of relevant documentation
8. Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders as required by their scope of work
Your skills and experiences:
* Essential:
* Degree in Human Factors or equivalent experience
* Demonstrable Human Factors experience
* Experience with writing assessment Human Factors reports and contributing to safety cases
* High hazard area industry experience
Desirable:
* Human error assessment experience
* Chartered Engineer or working towards this

The Hazard and Analysis team:
You will be working with a team of technical specialists within the site safety case team, currently around 30 strong and growing, involved in the Dreadnought and Site Redevelopment Programmes. We are producing safety cases covering Astute and Dreadnought build and commissioning. Relocation support packages are available across all Submarines roles, subject to eligibility.
