Office Administrator
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Full-Time (40 hours/week) | Part-Time Opportunities Available
Salary: £25,000–£28,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
We are a specialist fire door company committed to delivering high-quality, compliant solutions across commercial and residential sectors. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Administrator to support our operational and compliance teams. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing support to various departments, and maintaining efficient office procedures.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong administrative skills to contribute to a dynamic and regulated environment. Prior experience in the fire door industry is not required; full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle incoming calls and correspondence with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
* Organise meetings, including scheduling appointments and preparing necessary materials.
* Provide clerical support to team members as required, contributing to overall team productivity.
* Liaise professionally with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely communication
* Assist in the preparation and formatting of branded reports, templates, and procedural documents
* Ordering and assignment of stock
Candidate Profile:
* Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced or regulated environment
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* A proactive, collaborative approach with attention to detail
Working Arrangements:
* Full-time: 40 hours per week
* Part-time roles also available, with flexible scheduling options
