We're seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team on a fixed-term basis. This role is key to ensuring accurate cash collection, efficient debtor management, and maintaining excellent relationships with both customers and internal colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of customer debtor accounts to ensure timely payments.
* Accurately process and allocate incoming funds, reconciling against bank data daily.
* Proactively chase outstanding and aged debt via phone and email to meet agreed timelines.
* Maintain clear audit trails of all correspondence and actions.
* Resolve queries in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring issues are followed through to completion.
* Provide regular aged debt reporting and assist with cashflow forecasting.
* Participate in fortnightly ledger reviews to discuss progress, escalations, and action plans.
* Assist with unallocated payments, bank reconciliations, and other month-end processes.
* Support the Accounts Receivable Manager and wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed.
About You
* Previous experience in credit control, collections, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
* Confident in managing a debtor ledger with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships.
* Highly numerate with good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Able to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
* Proactive, adaptable, and willing to take ownership of tasks.
* Experience with NetSuite or similar financial systems is desirable but not essential.
