Job Overview
We are looking for a Supervisor to join our new store in Kendal on a 16‑hour permanent contract. The store will open at the end of July 2026; the successful candidate will commence approximately two weeks before opening to complete training and pre‑opening preparation. Assessment day is scheduled for 13 May.
Responsibilities
* Create and maintain a service culture within the store team that places the customer at the heart of everything we do.
* Guide the Sales Advisor team on recommending additional services such as omni‑channel selling, gathering customer data, and suggesting add‑on purchases.
* Support the store leadership team in driving sales, profitability, and consistent KPI achievement.
* Implement visual merchandising, window standards, and product guidelines to maximise commercial opportunities.
* Train the Sales Advisor team to have thorough knowledge of our brand, products, design inspiration, and services.
* Communicate store performance to team members and key stakeholders, providing regular feedback, and highlighting risks and opportunities.
* Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations, including stock management, loss prevention, incident reporting, health & safety, GDPR, cash handling, key‑holder responsibilities, and store safety standards.
* Act as the key‑holder and be responsible for running the store when required.

* Coaching instinct and passion for inspiring teams with excellent product knowledge.
* Strong customer‑service skills and ability to lead by example.
* Commercial mindset with a focus on driving and reaching sales targets and KPIs.
* Resilience and adaptability, able to respond positively to change and difficult situations.
* Confidence in giving constructive feedback and sharing ideas with management to improve performance.
