Temporary Senior Policy Manager 3 month temporary covering (potential to extend) £32 per hour Hybrid 1 - 2 days London Office A short-term opportunity for an experienced policy and advocacy professional to influence public policy and business practice in support of workers in developing countries. The role Develop and deliver policy and advocacy strategies in priority areas (e.g. trade policy, living income and wage, climate, business and human rights) Support parliamentary and government engagement, including briefings, correspondence and meetings Monitor political and regulatory developments and identify risks and opportunities Produce clear, high-quality policy analysis and messaging Work collaboratively across teams and with external partners, NGOs and networks About you Proven experience in policy, public affairs or advocacy at national and/or international level Strong understanding of UK political systems and influencing processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to translate complex issues into accessible, persuasive messages Values-driven, collaborative and able to work at pace
