Teaching Personnel are recruiting for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary School in Wallasey, a vibrant and inclusive primary school at the heart of the community.
The School is recognised for its strong safeguarding culture and nurturing approach. The school has a dedicated pastoral team and structured SEMH support systems in place, making it an excellent environment for support staff looking to make a genuine impact.
This role will involve working primarily across EYFS and KS1, supporting pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support to engage positively with learning.
The Role Includes:
* 1:1 support for pupils with SEMH needs
* Small group emotional literacy interventions
* Supporting behaviour regulation strategies
* Encouraging positive peer interactions
* Working collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
