Job Description:
Mechanical Supervisors lead teams of 8-25 skilled laborers in constructing, repairing, and maintaining locomotives and railcars. During training, you'll learn to conduct inspections and repairs at the component level, understand compliance standards of NS, AAR, and FRA, and participate in process improvement initiatives. After a six-month training program, you'll be promoted to Mechanical Supervisor at a locomotive shop or freight car repair facility.

Education / Experience:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree
* Preferred fields: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or similar
Work Environment:
* Willing to relocate within a 22-state network
* On-Call, Weekend, and Shift work required
* Environment includes field and machine shop settings
* Up to 4 trips per year after training
