1:1 Teaching Assistant - Stafford - Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a dedicated and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful Catholic Primary School in Stafford. The post is on a temporary basis.
This opportunity is great for somebody who is seeking an incredibly rewarding role as a 1:1 teaching assistant. The school require two 1:1 Teaching Assistant's, one supporting a young boy in Reception. The other post is supporting a boy in the Year 4 Class. The school benefits from a team who work together to provide the very best education for all pupils across the school.
The role includes:
* Providing excellent 1:1 support for the pupil.
* Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd.
* Working alongside the class teacher and other staff members to provide 1:1 support working closely with the pupil.
* Assisting class teacher in adapting classroom activities and resources to meet the pupil's needs on a daily basis.
* The ability to create and foster an inclusive, safe and warm learning environment.
* Confident working alongside teachers, SENCo, and external professionals.
* Support the pupil's social, emotional, and academic development.
* Able to provide support as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a non-verbal pupil with additional needs.
* The candidate must be comfortable and professional in delivering personal care duties with dignity and respect.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Experience is desirable).
* Is a patient, caring, and reliable individual.
* Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly non-verbal communication strategies (e.g., visual supports), would be advantageous.
* Able to commute to Stafford daily.
* Enhanced DBS.
* Available to start ASAP.
* Is able to follow guidance and adapt support to individual needs.
* Fully registered to work for Academics.
Pay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
