Finance Assistant South Lanarkshire (Office Based)

Lusona is delighted to be working in partnership with our client to source suitable applicants for the position of Finance Assistant, based at their Head Office in South Lanarkshire.

You'll play a key role in the financial operations of a growing and successful business, with the opportunity to develop and shape your role as the company continues to develop.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Accounts Payable invoices
Handle incoming and outgoing invoices; manage supplier and client queries
Perform monthly reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts
Support month-end activities and carry out financial analysis as required
Operate financial systems including Sage for transaction tracking and reporting
Maintain and update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
Work closely with the commercial team to ensure accurate and timely transfer of sales data into financial systems
Align project data with invoicing and ledger entries
Provide administrative support and collaborate with other departments as needed
What Were Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advantageous)
Experience working with Sage is desirable
Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive finance team
As a Finance Assistant, you will be essential to maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to the smooth operation of the accounts function. Your role will also involve working alongside the commercial team, giving you exposure to a broader aspect of the business.
