Senior Children\'s Residential Support Worker
Working in our Children’s Homes means being a part of a young person’s day-to-day life. This role involves supporting young people through highs and lows, helping them build pathways to become well-rounded adults, and maintaining high care standards within the home. You will ensure that the staff team is supported and the home operates to high standards, with the ability to deputise for the Team Leaders. We are looking for someone who can relate to and build relationships with our young people; compassionate, emotionally resilient, and capable of providing leadership that inspires colleagues.
Salary: £36,231 - £40,640 (assuming good attendance and up to 4 sleep-ins per month) – these terms reflect additional earnings based on attendance and sleep-ins.

* Bonuses: up to 4 sleep-ins per month (paid at £80 per sleep-in) and £1,400 Attendance Allowance, subject to good attendance

Requirements and place to grow

* A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months
* If you don’t have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), we will support and fund your studies
You will begin as a Residential Support Worker through our Care Academy – 4 weeks of off-the-job training with experienced WG professionals to help you feel confident in supporting our young people.
