Private Client Solicitor / 10 PQE / West Yorkshire / £50,000 DOE / Join a successful and growing firm with a loyal client base, who foster a collaborative atmosphere in which team members feel valued – Job Ref: 2114 JOB TITLE: Private Client Solicitor PQE REQUIRED: 10 LOCATION: West Yorkshire SALARY: Up to £50,000 DOE THE ROLE: In this role, you will manage a varied private client caseload including wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, probate and estate administration and Court of Protection applications. Key duties include advising clients, drafting legal documents, liaising with bodies such as the Land Registry, HMCTS and HMRC, preparing estate accounts and ensuring accurate and efficient case management. You will also play a key role in leading and developing the team, providing guidance and supervision, delegating work appropriately, reviewing output for accuracy and compliance and promoting a collaborative, client focused culture. Supporting junior colleagues, encouraging best practice and maintaining high service standards across the department will be central to the position. THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years’ PQE in private client work and be confident managing a varied caseload while leading a small team. You will possess excellent client care skills, strong organisational and time management abilities and the resilience to work effectively in a busy and sometimes demanding environment. Strong IT skills are essential, experience with case management systems would be advantageous. You will also demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, clear and professional communication. The ability to work both collaboratively and independently is important. A full, clean driving licence and local residency are desirable.
