Salary: £50,100 - £75,100 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
As an IT Commercial Contract Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of our IT & OT programmes and projects by providing thoughtful, expert commercial guidance. Working closely with stakeholders, suppliers and procurement colleagues, you’ll help shape and manage contracts that deliver value, sustainability and strong outcomes. This is a collaborative and people‑focused role where building trusted relationships, promoting safe working practices, and ensuring robust governance are at the heart of everything you do. You’ll contribute to a culture where safety, integrity and partnership enable teams to succeed together.
* Build positive, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, supporting strong and safe delivery across IT/OT programmes.
* Provide commercial advice and contract management expertise to ensure value for money and alignment with policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
* Support sourcing activity, including tender processes, negotiations and contract awards, with a focus on best value and long‑term outcomes.
* Use Procurement systems and dashboards to demonstrate progress to senior stakeholders, offering insights and approaches to strategy.
* Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs, supporting continuous improvement, safety standards and sustainability goals.
* Manage post‑contract commercial activities, including renewals, variations and dispute resolution, ensuring fair and balanced outcomes.
You have
* Experience managing contracts and commercial activity across a portfolio of suppliers, ideally within IT, OT or a complex, Procurement regulated environment in compliance with UK Procurement Regulation (PA23).
* Confidence in drafting, interpreting and negotiating contracts, with strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data and support sound decision‑making.
* A “Value Add” mindset with proven ability to increase efficiency and demonstrate this to stakeholders.
* Identify supply chain cost reduction opportunities and improvements in the Procurement and Commercial process.
* A commitment to safe working practices, alongside an appreciation of governance, compliance and continuous improvement.
