Technician - Diagnostic Job description

The role

As a skilled vehicle technician, you will join a friendly and welcoming technical team supporting our premium brand in our workshop. No previous BMW brand experience is required to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

* Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles across the brand
* Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, including warranty work as per brand parameters (training level dependent)
* MOT testing duties (if qualified)
* Completing job cards and electronic write-ups on franchise platforms
* Conducting electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) and video health checks
* Supporting Apprentice Technicians as required


Candidate requirements

* Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with technical knowledge, regardless of brand; we will consider you at your current level or certification
* A team-player comfortable with set processes and procedures
* Industry-recognized qualification, level 3 or brand accreditation (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
* Ability to carry out MOTs is desirable but not essential; full training provided
* Motivated, dedicated, and organized with a focus on Health & Safety
* Tech-savvy and confident with iPad/Android software
