The Rewards and Benefits on offer:A full-time, permanent position with long-term career opportunities.Competitive Basic SalaryYou will be working for an industry leading businessFree on-site parking.Company pension scheme.Long term career stabilityProgression and development opportunitiesA fantastic company culture and regular social eventsMTrecs New Client Opportunity:MTrec Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager to join a well-established and expanding manufacturing business.This is an excellent opportunity for a quality and technical professional with strong food industry experience who enjoys leadership, continuous improvement, and working collaboratively across multiple departments.Youll play a key role in leading the site Quality team, ensuring compliance with food safety legislation and certification standards, and driving high standards across quality, hygiene, and technical operations.Working closely with Production, Product Development, and Sales, youll help maintain product integrity, manage audits and quality systems, and support ongoing improvements across the businessThe Job you will do:Lead and develop the site Quality team, covering Quality Control and HygieneEnsure compliance with all relevant food safety legislation and standardsManage non-conformances, complaints, and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvementOversee environmental monitoring and pest control systemsSupport and maintain robust document control and product specificationsCollaborate closely with Production on quality and technical mattersProvide technical support to Product Development and Sales teamsSupport and maintain certification standards (e.g. BRCGS, Organic, Kosher, Halal)Participate in internal and external audits, including customer auditsManage export documentation and liaise with relevant authorities where requiredDrive improvements in quality systems, including digitalisation of documentationAbout You:Several years of experience in a Quality/Technical role within the food industrySolid knowledge of food safety standards and quality management systems (e.g. HACCP and BRCGS)Experience with audits and certification processesStrong problem-solving skills and a structured, analytical mindsetConfident communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across teamsProven ability to lead, motivate, and develop peopleTPBN1_UKTJ
