The finance team is currently seeking short-term support to assist with key financial processes during a busy period and spike in workload. The offices are extremely modern and have a fantastic welcoming team. Your new role As a Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance team with day-to-day operations. Your main responsibilities will include checking and matching VAT and HMRC payments against posted journals. You’ll be working closely with the team to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial records, contributing to the smooth running of the department. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have experience in accounts or hold an AAT equivalent qualification. Strong working knowledge of Sage 200 or similar Finance software. Confident with Excel and the ability to navigate spreadsheets. Processing invoices. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are key attributes of this position. What you'll get in return £14.94 per hour inclusive of holiday pay. Free on-site parking.
