T2MResourcing have been appointed to recruit a Finance Business Partner for a successful and high growth business services company. As Commercial Accountant you will play an important part of the Group Finance Team, business partnering with senior operational staff and reporting directly to the senior division controller.
As Finance Business Partner you will primarily focus on ensuring accurate reporting of revenue, accrued income, materials, inventory and related direct costs to ensure that Gross Margin is accurately recorded in line with relevant accounting standards. Project Accounting is a key element of the role, ensuring on a project-by-project basis financial records are robust and accurate, as well as providing relevant financial analysis and reports on the profitability of jobs.

* Office based with the potential to work from home 1 day per week.
To be successful as Finance Business Partner you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
* Good knowledge of accounting principles and their appropriate application
* Project accounting experience is essential
* Strong business partnering skills with the ability to engage with and challenge operational staff
* Highly credible and able to quickly build effective working relationships
* Analytical, accurate and detailed
* Pragmatic and flexible approach
* Self-starter and able to work autonomously
* Strong time management and the ability to prioritise
* System orientated with excellent IT skills
* Experience of working with operational and financial systems, in particular linking of these to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting
