Overview Our Client is actively seeking an experienced Workshop Production Manager who has proven experience in the Mechanical Engineering sector. The person should have strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage staff and workflows in a technically demanding environment. Key Responsibilities will include Enforcing health and safety policies and maintaining a clean and tidy working environment. Directly managing, motivating, and developing workshop personnel. Controlling workflow to ensure efficient scheduling of labour, materials and equipment. Planning, coordinating, and managing all production activities to meet quality requirements and shipping deadlines. Close liaise with internal Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Logistics teams Dealing directly with outside Suppliers and Partners. Skills and Experience Required Formal engineering qualification (Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar) Knowledge of Manual and CNC machining processes and Fabrication practices. Previous experience in a production or workshop management role. Excellent organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Personal Attributes Strong leadership presence with hands-on management as required. A clear, proactive communicator with strong attention to detail.
