What you will do:
* Conduct Core Assessments, pre-birth assessments, and risk assessments to ensure child safety and well-being.
* Undertake Section 47 Child protection investigations and gather comprehensive information.
* Prepare and write detailed Statements for court proceedings.
* Complete Section 7 and 37 reports for court requirements.
* Represent the authority in court by providing clear and accurate evidence.
* Carry out home visits to monitor and safeguard children, maintaining up-to-date case records.
* Convening and chairing core group meetings and liaising with other professionals for cohesive action plans.
* Conduct joint investigations and interviews alongside police efforts.
* Starting and executing care proceedings and reviewing and implementing Care Plans effectively.
* Oversee contact sessions and prepare case conference reports, attending relevant meetings.
* Formulate and complete Child in Need plans to aid families.
Requirements:
* Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in social work, with current Social Work England registration.
* Demonstrate significant frontline experience within UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker.
