Overview

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic national construction business who are looking to recruit an Estimator on a permanent basis due to growth based at their Swindon depot.


Salary and Benefits

Salary: £70,000 + £5,750 Car Allowance

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.


Responsibilities

* me.Advise Bid Manager of sufficiency of client bill of quantity / activity schedule and arrange for full quantity take off or checking as requir
* ed.Preparing the price estimate for tenders of budget pricing comprising the following aspec
* ts:Develop local rates/ build up rates for self-delivered it
* emsEnsure Working Rule Agreement (and any other specific requirements such as London Living wage) included in labour ra
* tesPrepare scheme specific labour rate calculation where requir
* ed.Develop local rates/ build up rates for self-delivered it
* emsLiaise with Planner to reconcile plant resource lev
* elsComparison sheet for materials considering unit rate (conversation factors), wastage, waiting times and part loads e
* tc.Liaise with procurement to determine appropriate selection of suppliers to send enquiries
* to.Liaise with procurement to determine the sufficiency and compliance of supplier quotati
* onsLiaise with procurement and agree on the selection of supplier quotations to be used in the estim
* ateLiase with procurement & bid team to determine appropriate selection of subcontractors to send enquires

* tesLiaise with procurement and bid manager and agree on the selection of the subcontractor to be used in the estima
