Who Should Apply?
We welcome applications from healthcare professionals with at least 12 months post-registration experience:
* Registered Adult Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD)
* Physiotherapists
* Occupational Therapists
* Paramedics
* Experienced Functional Assessors
NMC or HCPC registration is essential.
What You Need
* Unrestricted NMC or HCPC registration
* Strong clinical reasoning and report-writing skills
* Confidence with IT and managing your own workload
* Ability to travel to Plymouth for face-to-face assessments
* Right to work in the UK
The Role
As a Disability Assessor, you will apply your clinical knowledge to understand how health conditions impact daily living. This is a structured, supportive role offering clinical challenge without the demands of shift work.
You Will:
* Carry out adult-only functional assessments
* Review medical evidence
* Produce clear, structured, evidence-based reports
1. Work independently with full clinical support
2. Gain diary control and enhanced flexibility after 6 months
