We're partnering with an international bank that is investing heavily in its UK Personal Banking proposition. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a growing business area, lead a team of experienced Relationship Managers, and play a key role in shaping the future direction of the function.
This is not a desk-based management role. You'll be out in the market building relationships, winning new clients, growing deposits and acting as a trusted adviser to high-net-worth and affluent individuals.

The Opportunity
As Head of Personal Banking, you'll be responsible for driving client acquisition, growing deposits and delivering an outstanding client experience.
You'll act as the face of the bank for many new and existing clients, building long-term relationships and identifying opportunities to introduce a wider range of banking solutions through specialist teams.
Alongside managing your own portfolio, you'll lead a team of Relationship Managers and Private Banking Officers, creating a high-performance culture focused on growth, service excellence and client outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
* Growing current account and fixed deposit balances across the Personal Banking portfolio
* Building and managing relationships with high-net-worth and affluent clients
* Developing new business opportunities through your network, referrals and market activity
* Acting as the first point of contact for prospective clients joining the bank
* Identifying opportunities to introduce clients to specialist mortgage and wealth management teams
* Leading, coaching and developing a team of Relationship Managers and Private Banking Officers
* Working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless onboarding and client experience
* Driving adoption of digital banking services, including mobile banking and debit card usage
* Ensuring all client activity is conducted in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
About You
We're keen to speak with experienced Relationship Managers, Team Leaders and Banking Professionals who combine strong commercial instincts with excellent relationship-building skills.
You'll likely have:
* A successful track record in Personal Banking, Private Banking or Affluent Banking
* Experience managing and growing relationships with high-net-worth clients
* A strong network and the ability to generate new business opportunities
* Proven success in attracting and growing deposit balances
* Experience leading, mentoring or managing Relationship Managers
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A strong understanding of UK banking regulations and client onboarding processes
Experience working with international clients or emerging markets would be advantageous, but is not essential.
