Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Electrical Estimator to join our team on-site with some flexible working Thames Valley or Sittingbourne, Kent. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for electrical projects, analyzing project requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing cost-effective solutions. Additional responsibilities include reviewing blueprints and specifications, evaluating labour and material costs, preparing bid submissions, and ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will work closely with the project management team to deliver accurate and timely estimates that contribute to successful project execution.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Electrical Estimating, including creating accurate cost assessments for electrical projects
* Experience in Cost Control and budget management related to electrical systems
* Knowledge of Electrical Contracting and practical experience in project execution
* Understanding of Electricity and the principles of Electrical Engineering
* Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities
* Familiarity with relevant software tools and estimating systems
* Previous experience in construction or electrical industries preferred
* Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field is an advantage
