We have 1 permanent vacancy within the Bovaer department working on a dayshift basis. The Work Permit Coordinator role is the first point of contact for coordination and execution of all Work Permit related activities in the area.

Your key responsibilities
1. Coordinate all work permit activities related to planned maintenance, emergent work, and project activities in the area.
2. Execute the permit to work process: approval and issuance of RAPTW, Work at Height, Hot Work, and Confined Space Entry permits via Permit Cliq.
3. Participate in the permit planning process for maintenance and project activities.
4. Coordinate the execution of all preparatory work by operations (e.g., LOTOTO and LEO), required for efficient and safe handover of the installation to maintenance or projects.
5. Own equipment such as padlocks, spades, gas monitors, and other tools required for permit to work, in line with site SOPs.
6. Promote safety culture and housekeeping: direct and coach staff and contractors on safe working practices related to permitted work.
7. Act as Subject Matter Expert for LSRs related to permitted tasks.
8. Ensure compliance with site procedures for all permitted activities.
9. Conduct regular field visits, audits, and spot checks.
10. Assist with preparations for planned maintenance outages.
11. Prepare and support approval of isolation check sheets, LEO forms, and related documents.
12. Maintain an effective permit handback process.
13. Uphold permit documentation standards.
14. Coordinate safeguarding of plant during permitted work.
15. Perform field checks during permitted activities to ensure mitigation actions are in place as per DSM standards.
16. Improve permit workflow to enhance safety and efficiency.
17. Manage ownership of the Permit Cliq system, housekeeping, data analysis, and KPI tracking.

You bring
* Minimum of 5 years relevant industrial supervisory experience.
* An HND or equivalent in a relevant subject (desirable).
* Proven track record in permit issuing and safety-minded work.
* Leadership, teamwork, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
