R&D Tax Manager - Belfast MCS Group are looking for an R&D Tax Manager to join a well established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Belfast. They provide a range of services including Audit, Accounts, Corporate Finance, Tax & Payroll to a wide range of clients across NI, ROI, and the US. Now is a brilliant time to join the company, as they look to add an R&D Tax Manager to their growing team. The Rewards: As the successful R&D Tax Manager you will receive the following: £40k-£55k base salary plus £2k sign on bonus; Bonus based on performance (up to 10%); On-site Gym Hybrid working (3 days office); Flexible Working Hours; Early Friday Finish; Opportunity work for a highly reputable and growing business; The Role: As the successful R&D Tax Manager you will be responsible for the following: Take a lead role in managing client engagements, overseeing R&D and Creative Industry Tax Relief claims from inception to submission. Apply a strong technical background in R&D Tax Relief and Creative Industry Tax Reliefs to deliver accurate, compliant claims. Liaise with technical industry specialists and HM Revenue & Customs as required. Collaborate with clients and internal accounting teams to gather, analyse, and validate information to support tax claims. Organise and deliver educational seminars and training sessions for clients and staff to promote understanding of Innovation Taxes. The Person: The successful R&D Tax Manager will meet the following criteria: ACA or CTA qualified with 3 years of post-qualification experience. Open to strong ATT candidates Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in Innovation Taxes. Proven ability to interact and collaborate with other technical professionals. Excellent organisational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in Excel, able to present concise summaries of complex information.
