We're on the lookout for a chef who can work wonders with meat, smoke, and fire - someone who feels right at home behind a BBQ and in the kitchen. We are a farm-to-table BBQ spot on the edge of the Cotswolds, serving craft beer from some of the best breweries in the world alongside proper live-fire cooking. What you'll be doing
* Running the kitchen day-to-day, keeping service smooth and standards high
* Designing menus that celebrate seasonal produce, nose-to-tail cuts, and plenty of smoke & flame
* Leading the kitchen team, giving them the skills and confidence to grow
* Keeping everything spotless and safe, from prep to plating
* Training new hands on cooking techniques, BBQ skills, and house standards
* Managing stock levels and working with suppliers (we're big on local)
* Collaborating with our front-of-house crew to keep things seamless between kitchen and taproom
* Balancing creativity with cost control - we want big flavours and a sustainable business
What we're looking for
* Proven experience running or helping run a kitchen (BBQ knowledge a massive plus)
* A real passion for live-fire cooking and all things BBQ
* Solid food production and cooking skills, with an eye for detail
* Strong leadership and the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
* A good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
* Cool head under pressure
* Great communication skills
* A love of food and drink culture, and a desire to give guests an experience they'll come back for
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
