Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for a new opportunity? Our client is currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their friendly team in the area between Reading and Basingstoke. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
17. Carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance to a high standard
18. Perform diagnostics, engine work, cambelt replacements, and other general repairs
19. Undertake MOT testing and assist with technical inspections
20. Ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently and safely, adhering to company standards
21. Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used
22. Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
23. Communicate effectively with customers and team members
Experience required:
24. Full UK driving licence is essential
25. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally with dealership or independent garage background
26. MOT testing and qualification is highly desirable; candidates without MOT testing can be considered with a salary adjustment and training support
27. Knowledge of diagnostics, engine repairs, and routine servicing
28. Electric vehicle training or experience would be a plus, but not essential
29. Friendly manner with excellent attention to detail
30. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
