Project Manager - Southern Division Location: Bracknell (with travel across the South) Salary: £65,000 (negotiable) package The Opportunity A well-established, Northern-based contractor is expanding into the South of England and is seeking an ambitious Project Manager to play a key role in driving this growth. This is a pivotal position for someone who wants more than just a job - offering the chance to take real ownership of the Southern division and help shape its future. The initial project is a £2.2m nursery fit-out and full refurbishment in Bracknell, commencing in July. Due to the nature of the role and project, we are keen to speak with candidates based locally or within a commutable distance. The Role Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take full responsibility for delivering projects across the Southern region, starting with the Bracknell scheme. You will act as the company's key representative in the South, leading operations, building relationships, and driving performance. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of projects across the Southern region Manage the £2.2m nursery fit-out and refurbishment project in Bracknell from mobilisation through to completion Oversee works including roofing, flooring, rendering, and asbestos removal across a multi-floor scheme Control programme, cost, quality, and health & safety performance Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners Chair progress meetings and provide clear reporting to senior management Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and HSE requirements Manage risk, variations, and client relationships Support pre-construction activities and mobilisation of future projects Act as the driving force behind the Southern division, helping to establish and grow the regional business About You We are looking for someone with exceptional ambition and drive - an individual who wants to take ownership, build something meaningful, and become a key part of the business long term.
