• Extensive Operational Experience in Visitor Operations, Visitor Experience, and/or Customer Service Delivery• Excellent Knowledge of Audience Research, Data and Trends to Inform Visitor Programming and Operations• Inspiring Leadership Skills Including Coaching, Team Development, Motivation, Communication and Strategic Direction• Proven Track Record of Managing Complex Budgets and Maximising Income While Controlling Costs• Significant Experience of Managing Operational Risk and Ensuring Compliance• Experienced in organising events and exhibitions supported by targeted marketing.• Confident in working productively with a variety of partners, individuals and organisations Visitor Operations & Experience ManagerReporting to the General Manager, you’ll be part of the Property Leadership Team, championing inclusion and operational excellence.This is a front line operational management role, with at least 80% of your time spent on-site. Working hours are typically 9am–5pm, with occasional early or late shifts. The role will be responsible for managing Visitor Operations and Experience at Dyrham Park, Prior Park, Bath Skyline and Bathampton Meadows. Predominantly based at Dyrham Park, but also working out of the Prior Park office from time to time. The role will have regular weekend working (1 in 3 weekends) on the VE/DM rota.Interviews due to take place on the 8th July at Dyrham Park. You’ll lead the delivery of outstanding visitor operations, managing budgets and diversifying our offer - from paid admissions, events, and memberships to free activities that inspire and engage. You’ll take strategic responsibility for driving sustainable visitor growth across the property group, using audience insight, programme development, and targeted initiatives to increase reach, frequency of visits, and income. You’ll deputise for the General Manager and be the most senior operational role on site.You’ll work with partners to bring stories to life and design experiences that appeal to a wide range of audiences.
