Reed FE are seeking an experienced Engineering Assessor to join our team in Stamford. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining relationships with local employers and delivering high-quality apprenticeships with a focus on electrical engineering. The successful candidate will play a key role in the recruitment of new apprentices and manage their learning processes effectively to ensure high standards of education and training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and account manage relationships with local employers, focusing on the development of Higher Apprentices.
* Deliver high-quality apprenticeships by carrying out workplace assessments and delivering underpinning knowledge, particularly in electrical engineering, at levels 3-5.
* Actively participate in the recruitment of new apprentices through contact with local employers, managing key accounts, and engaging with schools/colleges and events.
* Complete all required documentation for projects, including Initial Assessment and Individual Learning Plans.
* Ensure all apprentices receive an initial and diagnostic assessment and skills scan, recognizing prior learning where applicable.
* Contribute to course review, internal verification, and self-assessment procedures within the department as appropriate.
