We’re looking for a General Manager who is passionate about health and wellness, thrives in dynamic environments, and brings both operational skill and strategic thinking to the table. Role Overview
This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone highly organised, adaptable, and motivated to see a business grow. The General Manager is responsible for daily operations, staff development, client systems, event planning, and financial reporting, while also playing a key role in setting and meeting KPIs, shaping business strategy, and driving sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Workflow Management
* Oversee and optimise internal workflows for efficiency and scalability.
* Ensure consistent team adoption of business systems.
* Prepare monthly financial and performance reports.
* Manage P&L tracking, expenditure, and reconciliations.
* Support financial planning with insights and trend analysis.
Client Systems & Communication
* Manage client platforms, appointments, memberships, and pricing.
* Uphold strict confidentiality and data integrity.
* Build incredible client relationships, demonstrating a caring and compassionate nature.
* Line‑manage a small team with regular check‑ins and reviews.
* Lead training across skills, wellness knowledge, and systems.
* Oversee onboarding, scheduling, rotas, and holiday planning.
* Foster accountability and continuous development.
Event Planning & Community Engagement
* Plan and deliver events (Sober Socials, Run & Recover, talks, workshops).
* Manage event logistics and staffing.
* Build partnerships with brands, corporates, and influencers.
* Lead outreach to expand Holon’s community presence.
Marketing & Creative Oversight
* Collaborate on high‑quality brand and digital content.
* Review and approve content to ensure brand alignment.
* Set and track KPIs across operations, finance, and staff.
* Develop strategies for growth and impact.
* Contribute to long‑term planning and scaling.
Space & Facility Oversight
* Ensure the physical space is safe, clean, and fully operational.
* Lead health & safety compliance and risk assessments.
* Manage maintenance and operational issues.
Data Protection & Security
* Handle client data in line with GDPR and UK regulations.
* Maintain secure digital systems and cyber‑safety measures.
* Promote a culture of confidentiality and data responsibility.
* Experience organising events or wellness programmes.
* Familiarity with functional medicine or similar healthcare approaches.
* Insight into branding, marketing, and social media strategy.
