PR Manager – Marketing Agency (Remote, UK Based) £40,000 - £50,000 We are partnered with an ambitious marketing agency looking for an experienced PR Manager to take ownership of their PR function and offering. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident leading strategy and rolling up their sleeves to deliver day to day activity as the team grows. This role is fully remote, but candidates must be based in the UK - the team meet up a couple of times a year in London for collaboration and socials. The opportunity: This is a pivotal position where you will be setting the direction for the agency’s PR offering while managing client activity hands on. You will work across both B2B and B2C brands, including sectors such as retail, Ecommerce, tech, and lifestyle, so adaptability is key. Your role will involve: * Developing and delivering PR strategies that align with client objectives. * Crafting compelling press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership content. * Building and nurturing relationships with journalists, influencers, and key media contacts across multiple sectors. * Securing high quality coverage in relevant trade, national, and lifestyle publications. * Managing media monitoring and reporting, providing actionable insights for clients. * Acting as the main point of contact for PR clients, ensuring campaigns run smoothly and on time. As the agency continues to grow, the plan is for you to build out a PR team, starting with a hire underneath you, so there’s a clear progression path into leadership. We need you to have: * Proven agency experience managing PR campaigns for both B2B and B2C clients. * A track record of delivering media coverage in national, trade, and online media. * Strong media relations skills, with an existing network of journalist contacts (bonus if in retail, Ecommerce, tech, or lifestyle). * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, someone who can craft a great story and pitch it effectively. * Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands on delivery in a fast-moving environment. Beneficial: * Experience integrating PR with content marketing and social media campaigns. * Knowledge of tools like Cision, Meltwater, Gorkana, or similar media databases and monitoring platforms. * Understanding of digital PR and link building strategies.
