Overview
Exley Pharmacy is a Tamworth based Pharmacy founded on professionalism and compassion for patient‑centred care. We collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, patients, carers and the local community to provide outstanding healthcare and general well‑being.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the dispensary.
* Dispense prescriptions.
* Answer patient, prescriber and supplier queries.
* Build relationships with patients, GP surgeries, suppliers and other healthcare professionals.
* Organise workload and dispensary layout efficiently to maximise efficiency.
* Maintain stock control and cost‑effective purchasing.
* Maintain dispensary cleanliness and standards.
* Manage patients and care home monitored dosage systems dispensing.
* Assist in delivering enhanced/advanced/private patient services.
* Assist in completing and organising pharmacy paperwork.
Qualifications
* Preferably qualified to at least Level 2 NVQ, BTEC or Diploma in pharmacy service skills and pharmaceutical science or willing to undertake such training provided.
* Good attention to detail and concentration.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Excellent team working skills and ability to lead.
* High level of IT literacy.
* At least 1 year community pharmacy experience or dispensing qualification; role involves significant customer interaction.
Schedule
Full time. 8‑hour shifts, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
Location
In person at Exley Pharmacy, one location.
Pay
Starting at Minimum Wage.
