Assistant manager

The Plastic Centre is one of the largest independently owned, manufacturer and distributor of building plastics in the UK. We currently have a branch network of 20 branches and have ambitious plans to grow the branch network over the next 5 years.

We believe that the Assistant Manager role is key in the Branch Network and should provide us with a talent pool for those wanting to become our Branch Managers of the future.

This is a role where the individual enjoys the day to day muck and bullets of being a part of the branch team but also thrives on deputizing in the Branch Managers absence.

What we are looking for:

• People who are hands on, get stuck in supporting the Branch Manager in delivering the branch plan and are keen to develop into our future Branch Manager
• Individuals that are passionate about driving, long lasting, meaningful relationships with their customer base
• The ability to deputize for the Branch Manager in their absence
• Someone who can create a winning culture we work hard but have fun doing it
• Drives the branch profitability through Sales, Margin & Cost control
• An individual that thrives on success is resilient and driven
• Is the custodian of the Branch Operations Stock, H&S, Scheduling Deliveries etc.
