Role Description
This is a full-time, 35 hours per week including every Saturday, 6 month Fixed Term contract, paid employment on-site role for an E-Commerce Assistant, based in Windsor.
We are looking for a revenue driver who lives and breathes TikTok trends, PPC, and e-commerce metrics. You will be responsible for pushing online sales. One day you will be spotting a viral trend on TikTok and filming a product video; the next day you will be inside Shopify tweaking product descriptions or suggesting a PPC bid change.
Key Responsibilities
* Trend Spotting & Reactive Marketing: Proactively monitor TikTok and Instagram Reels to identify emerging product trends and immediately action those trends to create shoppable content, with the goal of driving same-week sales
* Product Performance Analysis: Use Shopify to identify underperforming products and spot early signs of demand – for example, a product getting views but no sales, or a category trending on social. Make autonomous decisions on product positioning, copy and collections suggestions to drive sales
* Organic Social Commerce: Manage TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook with one goal: conversion. Each post must have a clear path to purchase; you will track how many clicks become sales and iterate based on that data
* PPC & Paid Social for Direct Revenue: Work alongside the directors to assist with PPC campaigns (Meta/Google). You will make specific recommendations on which products to put budget behind, based on historic sales data and margin
* Revenue Reporting: Review weekly sales data to spot small trends – a product that sold twice this week after being quiet, or a category showing unexpected interest. You will propose one or two non-price actions per week
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree (2:2 or above) in Business/Marketing OR 1-2 years of relevant work experience
* Strong E-Commerce skills, including familiarity with online platforms and a keen understanding of online retail operations
* Passion for managing content and promotions across social media channels
* Previous Knowledge and understanding as to why a video goes viral and how to replicate that for a product with a clear path to purchase
* Good Understanding of terms like CTR, ROAS, and Conversion Rate
* Ability to shoot and edit basic short-form video (TikTok/Reels)
* Copywriting skills for product descriptions and captions that convert
* Ability to interpret and analyse basic sales data – e.g., spotting which products sold yesterday vs. last week, even with low order volumes
* Strong Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise high-impact tasks and work independently
* Shopify experience (Admin side: editing products, collections, discounts)
* Basic PPC knowledge (Even if just running your own small Etsy/Discord shop ads)
* Experience of Google Analytics or Meta Business Suite
* Experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar quick editing tools (practical for a small team)
