Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. You will design, implement, and support complex customer facing applications across the full stack. This role will have a front end focus working primarily with react based apps.
Reporting to an experienced Lead Engineer, this role combines consultancy style project delivery with in-house product development. You will collaborate directly with customer teams as well as internal analysts, UX designers, engineers, and product owners. Your technical expertise and architectural insight will influence both near term project outcomes and long term product strategy.
Our primary technology stack is Node.js (TypeScript) and React (Vite). This role is fully remote, with biannual in‑person company meetings.
What you will do
You will balance hands-on development, ensuring we deliver value to our healthcare customers, and providing input to our ways of working. Your core responsibilities will include:
Build & Architect Full-Stack Solutions: Design, write, and test scalable TypeScript/JavaScript code across the presentation and service layers, primarily using Node.js and React.
Drive the Feature Lifecycle: Take ownership of projects from end to end. You will collaborate with analysts and customers to shape requirements, and confidently demo the finished solutions back to them.
Champion Engineering Quality: Lead technical design discussions, create clear documentation, and continuously improve our tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and coding standards.
Mentor & Collaborate: Foster a culture of shared learning by reviewing code, offering constructive feedback, and mentoring fellow developers in system design and best practices.
Ensure System Reliability: Help us keep our applications running smoothly by supporting cloud deployments, monitoring performance, and stepping in to help resolve customer support queries within agreed SLAs.
Your Skills

* Around 5 years of professional experience in a full‑stack software engineering role.
* Knowledge of designing and building distributed systems or microservices.
* Experience of relational data stores.
* Experience working with public cloud environments.
* Strong understanding of agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience with containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
