We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and proactive Events Administrator to join our team at an iconic events venue in Islington. You'll play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of events and ensuring everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.
About the Role
* Part-time, 20 hours per week (must be available on weekdays) – plus overtime opportunities available working as an Events Assistant on the floor during events – getting involved in the buzz of live delivery
* Tailoring proposals for hospitality and event requests, including ad-hoc requirements
* Liaising with organisers and hosts to make sure every detail is covered
* Placing product and supply orders for services and events
* Writing, printing, and displaying menus for service areas
* Coordinating with the internal events team and external vendors for timely service delivery
* Acting as a liaison to address client concerns promptly and gather feedback
* Supporting company sustainability and ISO goals
* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Environmental legislation and procedures

About You
* Experience in administration or event coordination, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant sectors
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse audiences.
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), systems savvy and comfortable with digital tools
* A proactive team player with a "can-do" attitude
* Demonstrated time management abilities to meet deadlines without compromising quality
* Calm under pressure and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
