Our Early Careers Graduate Scheme delivers a blended two‑year learning experience, combining virtual modules with face‑to‑face training, mentorship and industry‑standard accreditation pathways.
What does the role involve?
As a Graduate Fire Engineer you will support fire safety design across the UK construction sector – commercial, residential, industrial and infrastructure. You will contribute to the entire project lifecycle, from concept design through to construction, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients and approving authorities.
Day‑to‑Day Activities
 * Attend internal and external design team meetings.
 * Review and mark up design proposals.
 * Liaise with mechanical, electrical, public health engineers, architects and clients.
 * Apply critical thinking to resolve fire safety challenges.
 * Produce technical reports to support design approval processes.
 * Undertake detailed fire engineering analysis, including CFD and evacuation modelling.
 * Communicate with approving authorities and fire safety regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
 * Relevant university degree (Engineering, Architecture, Design, or related discipline).
 * Less than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements).
 * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
 * Self‑motivated, proactive and solution‑oriented.
 * Work in the UK without restrictions now or in the future (permanent role).
