Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our clinic. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.
Duties
* Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
* Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as necessary.
* Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries regarding services and procedures.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with regulations.
* Process patient registrations and collect necessary documentation.
* Assist with billing inquiries and insurance verification as required.
* Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow within the practice.
* Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Skills
* Previous office experience is essential, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting.
* Strong administrative experience with excellent organisational skills.
* Proficient in using computer systems and medical software applications.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
* Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A compassionate approach towards patient care and an understanding of confidentiality protocols.
