About the Role
As a Year 5/6 Teacher, you will play a key role in preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school, delivering engaging lessons that inspire confidence and a love of learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Preparing pupils for SATs while maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum
Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress
Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5/6 experience desirable)
Has a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation
Is passionate about raising attainment and supporting all learners
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Is committed, reliable and able to build positive relationships
This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
